Somatics: Identifies places in the body that are not moving; use the nervous system to influence muscular activity and change patterns of movement.

Muscle Energy Technique (MET): Assess joint relationships and correct the structure through muscle activation.

Applied Kinesiology: Identifies weak or dysfunctional muscle relationships and then corrects the imbalance.  This also recognizes the role of ligaments with pain and dysfunction.

Aston Patterning: Identifies areas of stress throughout the body by observation and through palpation. Neutralize the stress; observe the changes.

Yoga: Watch how movements are initiated and carried through the body. Observe relationships between breath and movement. This is a useful approach with athletes.
